Luca carefully considers each commission and only accepts assignments that serve his own interests artistically and politically.

"A Taste Of St. Croix" is an annual charity gala that began in 2001. In addition to providing the fanciful poster images, Luca participates in the event with his Southgate Farms operation by hosting a booth displaying a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs that are organically, locally grown on St. Croix.
