Dunigan Designs is a fine arts woodworking shop in the US Virgin Islands. Its founder, Jack Dunigan, is an enthusiast of the Arts & Crafts decorative arts movement of the early 20th century and designs and builds fine custom and unique furnishings, often in the manner of these artisans. One of a number of Arts & Crafts style typefaces was chosen for the logo, and a custom monogram was created from modified letters in that alphabet. Naturally, the storefront signage for Dunigan Designs reflects this aesthetic and was fabricated of wood from our design by the proprietor. Additionally, the logo is used as a signature tag or mark which is laser cut into a small plug of wood and inlaid into furnishings made by Dunigan Designs. The logo and sign design also complement the styling and color of Jack’s lovingly restored 1939 Ford pickup truck, which he parks out front on sunny days. |
